Zicatela is one of the top surfing pipelines on the planet and it is also one of the more dangerous pipelines to surf as well.  This little part of Mexico is a great laid back place to explore, eat, surf, and just hang out. A lot of surfers make their way here to Zicatela to fine tune their skills for competitions all throughout the year. 

Although Puerto Escondido was known for shipping coffee and is the most visited by tourists on the Oaxacan coast, it is also the oldest tourist spot in this part of Mexico. 

There are a lot of family memories here in Puerto Escondido from releasing baby turtles into the ocean, to a lot of walks on the beach, and numerous trips into town to check out the best local hot spots.
